Aloha. <3 I hope you are doing well, taking care of yourself and family, and showing love and extending grace to as many people as you can right now.
Our industry professionals need our help. I am doing something to help. This is my plan, not perfectly conceived, but it is a plan to help. See the statement on the homepage www.markjlindquist.com and you'll see that I'm not in this for money. I'm in it to help a lot of stressed out speakers and entertainers I've been talking to for the last 16 days. I'm in it to help healthcare workers and the economy. I'm in it to build a professional fundraising network for our nonprofits as the Mayor of Fargo asked me to help the 501c3's of the country.
Start where you are. (Quarantine) Use what you have. (Communication skills and ability to give a positive perspective; a network of talented people) Do what you can. (Help our Citizens)

It's more of a conversation, not a presentation. We're not making political statements on this network. We are here to provide people with a bright spot all day long. We are that ray of light in an otherwise cloudy and confusing world. The spirit of these conversations - that we'll be broadcasting into homes of people all over the Nation - is one of positivity, of truth about our feelings as we all navigate a crazy time in life.
I got myself a little license to broadcast our zoom conversations to the world - so please know that if you sign up for an interview, know that what you say will be recorded, and the good stuff we'll use to promote for the next time you're on the network. You can either let me raise money for "the industry" and we end up supporting you as an out of work performer... or you can choose to direct your donations to other out of work gig workers in your circle who are in need. We're doing smart things like paying for cell phone and internet bills of the gig economy workers who need those things to keep afloat.
I'm offering you my vast network and offering my colleagues the chance to jump on the coattails of an initiative for good.
Please work within the framework of what we have built - we are juggling 10-12 interviews a day and don't have a lot of time for individual requests. We will try to accomodate you as best we can, but honestly I'm looking for no drama guests who have a "I am willing to do whatever is necessary to help and I'll put my ego and ways of doing business aside for now for the greater good" type of attitude. Those are the people I can work with now. I can adapt and be more accomodating in the future - but for now - please just work with what we've built and roll with it. Thank you. I think we are all professionals who can adapt and overcome.

HEADS UP: I'm aware that many of us have content that we charge for - and I wouldn't want you to give your best stuff for free - that could potentially hurt your chances of selling that brilliance in the future. I get how the industry works. So, look at this hour interview as more of a conversation, not a presentation. I will do everything I can to promote you, your website, your stuff. You'll get a portion of the donations that come in during the hour you're on - as my payment processor (BNG out of Fargo, ND) will timestamp the donations so we can attribute the donation to your brilliance. We'll send you a check or cover an internet bill or something to support you during this time. *Please note, this is all out of the goodness of our hearts, us Veterans who want to help. We're allowing 10+ mayors in our local Fargo area to inspect our books so everyone knows that 100% of the money goes to others, not me (Mark Lindquist).
