KRAMATORSK, UKRAINE - JUNE 11: Volunteer aid worker Mark Lindquist, a United States Air Force veteran from Minnesota, delivers medical supplies donated from the United States to a hospital on June 11, 2022 in Kramatorsk, Ukraine. Lindquist is part of an aid organization, who refer to themselves as the A Team, who are a collective of international people who pay their own expenses to help out in Ukraine. The "A-Team" Ukraine is a group of unpaid volunteers operating in eastern Ukraine since March of 2022. We hand-deliver humanitarian aid as close as 1 mile away from the Russian enemy lines. We are a group of young, energetic, idealistic do-gooders who have chosen to put ourselves in harms way so others don't have to. We are veterans, civilians, western volunteers from over a dozen countries and we're all doing everything we can to save lives in Ukraine this winter.

Q: Why should I trust The "A-Team": Ukraine with my donations? How do I know my contribution was useful?
A: We understand that nobody wants to see their hard work go to waste. We are mindful of possible corruption, resale, and hoarding that has been reported in Ukraine and our team does everything we can within reason to maintain positive control over all our shipments until the recipient has the goods in hand. We have set up a telegram channel for donors to follow along with every delivery our team makes inside Ukraine.

OPERATION: SLEEP OUT
Mark's 17-day #UkraineChallenge to sleep outdoors in Fargo, North Dakota and the surrounding areas in December in his tent and sleeping bag to raise awareness of ways Americans can help Ukrainians this winter.
